APC Policy

LIS: Letra. Imagen. Sonido. Ciudad Mediatizada is committed to supporting accessible and equitable scholarly publishing. The journal does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) to authors for the submission, peer review, editorial processing, or publication of manuscripts.

Authors are not required to make any payment in order to submit their work for consideration or to have an accepted manuscript published in the journal. Editorial and publication decisions are based solely on the scholarly quality, originality, relevance, and academic merit of submissions and are not influenced by an author’s ability or willingness to make a payment.

The journal aims to provide an inclusive publishing environment in which researchers can contribute to scholarly communication without financial barriers related to article processing. All manuscripts are subject to the journal’s established editorial assessment and peer review procedures regardless of the authors’ institutional affiliation, geographic location, or financial circumstances.

LIS: Letra. Imagen. Sonido. Ciudad Mediatizada does not require authors to pay publication fees as a condition of acceptance or publication. Any future changes to the journal’s publication-fee policy, if applicable, will be communicated transparently through the journal’s official website.
